closet organization

I have a lot of purses, and I keep them in the closet in my spare bedroom. This disaster is what the closet used to look like.

That's one of those things that is supposed to hook over the top of a door and it technically did the job, but with so many purses crammed on just a few hooks it was hard to see them all and hard to get to the one I wanted. And because they were all piled on top of each other they stuck out and made it hard to close the door. It was driving me crazy.

Enter these

I bought a package of shower curtain S hooks, and now my closet looks like this! 

Now I can see all my purses and bags, and when I want one I can easily get to it without having to move all the other ones out of the way. I love simple solutions like that!

Amy over at Then She Made had the most brilliant idea. When I saw it on Pinterest I couldn't believe I had never thought to do it because it seems so obvious. And that my friends is why I love Pinterest.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks she's a genius. I made one myself and it's amazing how much space it saves.
